A frame, either physical or digitally rendered, that contains information. Such frames are usually sequenced, enabling the information to be consumed by the user in a manner that facilitates the envisioned user-experience of the pages' creator (e.g. a coherent literary narrative). The sequence may be indicated by numbers detectable the within the frame's limits. In certain instances, a page's information may only be determinable by experiencing the wider sequence – for example, in the case of visually blank pages, which often function as a form of punctuation. In order to avoid confusion, such pages sometimes verbally acknowledge their lack of independent information with a statement to the effect of This page left intentionally blank.
